Our history

The Meraki Restaurant Group, founded by Anthony and Fallon Cowley in 2020, has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry and has quickly grown its newly established group of 4 restaurants located on the outskirts of Glasgow.

The Groups most established restaurant is Cocktails & Steaks in Uddingston followed by the opening of Mr MacGregors Restaurant & Gin Emporium in Netherlee in August 2020. Cutler Lobster & Steaks in Giffnock followed in June 2021 and the latest venture Luciano’s in Burnside opened in August 2021.

Our ethos

Each restaurant has been carefully designed and refurbished to the highest of standards, each with its own identity ensuring that the look and style of each restaurant align with our purpose;

to create something with soul, creativity, or love – when you put “something of yourself” into what you’re doing, the meaning of ‘Meraki’.

All our venues have been transformed into premium offerings delivering outstanding hospitality in beautiful surroundings and ensuring we use the freshest produce possible. Our team deliver the very best in guest hospitality and brings our ethos to life every day. We are committed to delivering a product that every team member can be proud of and ensuring that every visit to all of our restaurants is a memorable one.

Operating in and around our four restaurants, I get to see all the effort and hard work the team put in daily. I try not to give too much away but the buzz I get from seeing the pride on everyone’s face is so infectious, it’s such a rewarding thing to see.
